Have you started realising you might be a bit neurospicy don't know where to begin? Or are you well on your journey to understanding the way your brain works but need some help putting together coping strategies for daily life?

Many of us think we're a bit broken, or that we are the way we are so life will never get better - but that couldn't be further from the truth. Sometimes, simple tactics can help maximise our strengths and regulate our emotions to prevent everything feeling overwhelming.

BCMH's workshops, coaching and psychology support will provide you with the tools, guidance, and encouragement you need to thrive.
You are not alone.
It's easy to think there's no way out...
That living with anxiety is just the way it has to be.
That depression is just who you are.
That out of control relationships is just part of your future.
Hey, I totally get it! Living with ADHD, autism or other types of neurodivergence can sometimes feel like you're on a rollercoaster ride all by yourself, as both a practitioner and an autistic ADHDer myself I completely understand. But guess what? Mental health support services can change that. They provide a safe space where you can connect with others who get what you're going through. Sharing your experiences, challenges, and triumphs with people who understand can be incredibly comforting.
And the best part? These support services give you the tools and strategies to take control of your life. They're like your secret weapon, helping you develop life skills and strategies that work specifically for your unique brain.
So, with Balance Centre for Mental Health support services by your side, you can wave goodbye to that feeling of being lost and embrace a sense of empowerment and control.
You've got this, and we're here to support you every step of the way!
About Teena
Hi! I'm Teena. I'm a Mental Health Support Worker and I'm here to help you take control of your mental wellbeing, understand your past and learn strategies to assist you as you move forward into a hope filled future.

I set up Balance Centre for Mental Health with the intention of creating a safe space to explore yourself and help you become the version of you that you want to be. I provide professional psychological and coaching services to improve your mental health and develop a strategic plan for general life management.

I'm an accredited Mental Health Social worker, a mum, a business owner, an ADHDer and on the spectrum. Yup, I wear a lot of hats. Which means I understand, from both a professional and a personal perspective, how chaotic life can be. This is why I am passionate about supporting children, adolescents and their families as well as adults coming to terms with life outside the normal mental health boxes.
I'd love to have a chat to see how I can help you and your family.

Journalling for Wellness:
A beginners guide
When's the last time you wrote something that you knew nobody else would read?

While plenty of us start journaling as kids, reintroducing the practice as an adult has been shown to work wonders for mood and outlook.
While most writing is about opening up and sharing, journaling is more about looking inward and exploring what makes you tick. The purpose of journaling is to awaken conscious thinking, which is simply having an honest conversation with yourself!

Here, we will explore how to start a journaling routine you'll actually stick with (and love), for the benefit of your mental wellness.
